Looking at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter I witnessed determination, extraordinary willpower and a purpose. All are wonderful traits! I realize the main components that kept us standing were relationships and dedicated teamwork. The strength of this chapter is "US." Because our makeup is uniquely diverse we have the capacity to overcome many obstacles.

During this coming year I am looking forward to tapping into all those qualities and strengths in an effort to broadening and showcasing what NAWIC has to offer. Our hope is to create awareness of the contribution of the many women in the construction industry.

This is the 50th Anniversary of the National Association of Women In Construction Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter #78. We are excited!
